Mumbai, Sep 18: The latest episode of Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 20 witnessed an emotional moment as Young broke down in tears following a dispute involving Mahi Vij, while Gullu was named the new captain of the house.

The 12th episode, streamed on Thursday, saw Young crying for the first time on the show. The episode featured a discussion about remarks allegedly made by Mahi Vij against Young. Mahi later denied using abusive language, while Isha Rikhi also tried to explain the situation to Young.

However, Young appeared deeply hurt by the incident and broke down in tears. He said he had called Mahi “Mother” and later expressed disappointment with the other housemates, saying he had lost faith in everyone.

Towards the end of the episode, Young and Mahi discussed the issue, but the matter remained unresolved. Young was later seen keeping to himself and appearing upset.

The episode also saw Young’s tenure as captain come to an end. Six contestants initially competed for the captaincy, with the task requiring them to take away a ‘life’ from another housemate. Reeti Tiwari, Mahi Vij, Gullu and Kanika Mann eventually proceeded to the next stage.

In the second captaincy task, contestants had to place apples on the tray of their preferred candidate. The task triggered arguments and chaos among the housemates. Gullu eventually received the highest number of apples and was declared the new captain, with Young overseeing the task.

Meanwhile, Amrapali Dubey and Arishfa were involved in a heated argument during the captaincy task. Amrapali was supporting Kanika Mann when Arishfa repeatedly attempted to take away Kanika’s apples. The disagreement escalated, with both contestants calling each other “cheap”.

Amrapali also criticised Arishfa during the argument, telling her to “have some shame” and calling her an annoying kid.
