Puttur: One arrested, Rs nine lac recovered in daylight robbery case

Puttur, Mar 24: Uppinangady police arrested one person in connection with the case in which Rs 10 lac cash was robbed from a person, while he was keeping it under the seat of his two-wheeler.

The arrested accused is identified as Mustafa (41), a resident of Kadavinabagilu Mane of Ilanthila village.

Mustafa had allegedly snatched the bundle containing Rs 10 lac from the hand of Mohammed K (60), a resident of Karyapadi, Ilanthila.

Ravi B S, Circle inspector, who conducted the investigation, arrested Mustafa and recovered Rs nine lac cash from him. Another accused, who has got Rs one lac from the booty, is absconding.

    I should say congratulations to Police who have done their job excelently.The person who lost this lacs had luck to recover these nine lacs.I never thought he will get back .
