Beltangady: Stelvin, Stanly seek financial help for education, well being

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (SB)

Beltangady, Dec 21: Children are innocent and dependent. Their life should be full of happiness and peace. Education is a must for all children. But for many of them, the reality of childhood is entirely different.

Siblings Stelvin and Stanly dreamt about growing like any other child. But an unfortunate incident has rendered the children totally helpless. They lost their parents in a gap of two years due to a short illness. Just like any responsible parents, the couple had big dreams for their children who were doing excellent academically. Their sudden deaths did not give the couple an opportunity to secure their children's future.

Stanly, the elder son of the couple, is pursuing his seventh standard while their second son Stelvin is studying in fifth standard at St Raphael Higher Primary School, Tenka Karandoor, Beltangady.

Taking note of the current situation and helplessness of Stelvin and Stanley, teachers of their school under the leadership of Gretta D’Costa, the headmistress of the school, have come forward to mobilize an education fund for their further studies. The children hope to continue their studies and achieve their dreams. They believe that generous donors will stand by them in these difficult times.

Currently, the children are living with their grandmother at Baddyar. The teachers and close relatives of the family have requested people to contribute to finance the education of Stanley and Stelvin.

Daijiworld urges its kind-hearted readers to extend all possible support to Stanley and Stelvin towards their education and well-being.

Please open a joint account along with an adult as a signatory, else there is a chance to misuse the funds by getting minor account holder's signature. A trust in their name is a better option because their current expenses aren't as big as their higher studies.
