Mangaluru, Dec 5: Dora Anitha Mendonca (50), a resident of Ujire had many responsibilities in her life. Being a single parent, she had been taking care of her daughter and elderly mother single-handedly though she spent her good time with difficulties and financial struggles.

Unfortunately, this year she felt ill and was compelled to have a detailed medical examination. After the specialized medical tests, she came to know that she is suffering from Adenocarcinoma Lung - Stage IV. Since cancer treatment is highly expensive and as per the doctor's prescription, the specialized treatment exceeds Rs 90,000 per month.

Currently, Dora is undergoing her treatment at AJ Hospital, Mangaluru. Since she does not have any male member earning in her home and her daughter has just started working after her graduation, Dora's economic condition has become very poor. She genuinely needs some financial support.
