Moodbidri: Sudden rains lash town on Saturday night during Sri Venkatramana's procession

Moodbidri, Dec 4: Sudden rains lashed the town on the night of Saturday.

It started raining as the town circling of Lord Sri Venkatramana was in progress.

In addition, Akhanda Bajana Sapthaha which has been organized as part of diamond jubilee celebration of Sri Venkataramana Bhajana Mandali, was also in progress.

There was cold weather in some parts of the coastal district on the morning of Saturday.

Later clouds and sunshine were alternating. According to the weather department, the maximum recorded temperature was 33.1 deg C and minimum was 24 deg C on Saturday.
