Kundapur: 32-year-old fisherman accidentally falls into river, dies

Kundapur, Dec 2: A fisherman who was unloading fish from the boat, slipped and fell into Pancha Gangavali river at Gangolli and died.

The deceased is identified as Pramod Minj (32), a native of Orissa.

Ananda Tarakki, Pramod Minna, Pramod Topu and others had gone for deep sea fishing on Sri Yaksheshwari boat owned by Prabhakar Kharvi on Tuesday. After finishing the fishing, they had come back to Panchagangavali river and were emptying the catch, while Pramod Minj accidentally fell into the river from the boat and went missing. His mortal remains were found on Friday morning.

A case in this connection is registered in Gangolli police station.
