Elizabeth Lucy Nazareth (89), relict of of Pascal Ambrose Nazareth (retired district and session judge, Coimbatore) of Shirva origin, mother of Pascal Alan Nazareth IFS Retired (former ambassador to Mexico), Margaret (AICC secretary and former union minister) / Niranjan Alva (advocate), John Mohan Nazareth and Joan Peres, and grandmother of film-makers Niret and Nikhil (New Delhi), passed away at home of illness.

Funeral service will be held in St Francis Cathedral, Fraser Town, Bangalore on Tuesday, July 12 at 3-00 pm, followed by interment in Hosur cemetery.
