See Mother Nature Once Again Through Dayanand Kukkaje's Eyes

August 7, 2008
Mangalore

Nature is too thin a screen. The glory of the omnipresent God bursts through everywhere.  A man is related to all nature. Therefore whoever loves nature, understands art more and more. But to love nature and appreciate its beauty, one needs not only eyes but even a true heart which desires to fathom beauty that surrounds him/her. It is said that whoever learns to appreciate nature, learns also to appreciate each of God's creation.

Joy in looking and comprehending is nature is most beautiful gift. But sad is that only a few are blessed with this gift.  Daijiworld's photographer Dayanand Kukkaje is one of these blessed ones. He has been a self-styled photo journalist who has always crossed boundaries to fathom nature's beauty. He does not limit himself to click gory photos of some ghastly accidents or bloodshed, nor is he satisfied getting snaps of formal functions.  He goes beyond the set 'terrains and horizons' and creates photos. He can get a gem of a photo even out of dry tree or bizarre situation. Time and again, he has given some memorable and exclusive photos to Daijiworld readers. Today we have one more set of photos which exhibit his love not only for photography but even for nature.

These 'green photos' are taken exclusively across Dakshina Kannada. One of these photos is taken near Nehru Maidan in the heart of the city. People, who often question as what is there in our native place, perhaps need to ask Dayanand Kukkaje. He can show everything you have seen always, but with a different eye. And you will never ask that question again!
