Always Try One More Time

January 18, 2026

New year, new hopes—this is what everyone thinks about when the calendar changes. But people are not ready to change themselves. Every new year beginning gives high hope to people; they are positively charged in the month of January, but this energy and hope slow down within a month. Most people think of big revolutions, drastic changes in their life, and keep high expectations. But unless people change their habits and way of living, this will not turn into reality. All want quick results, but that’s not instant food to get results within minutes or days. Everything takes its own time. But nobody is patient enough to wait these days.

Every new year begins with so many expectations, so many dreams, so many aspirations. Some events happen according to our plans, some dreams turn into reality, some expectations turn into reality, some don’t.
As we all know, success takes its own time. Life is a journey, not a race. But now it has purely become a race; all are blindly running behind things which actually they have no plan for, but it’s just that others are doing it, so I must also do it. Everyone’s life has its own pace. The efforts and actions people put into their dreams differ.
Every year-end shows the reality. It’s the time where it tells us what mistakes need to be corrected, what elements need to be changed, what habits need to be cultivated, and which way to choose.

“Always Try One More Time”—this line was written on a journey bus. And when I read this line for the first time, it gave me hope; it made me think again of those things which I couldn’t achieve and was about to give up on, when the mind was completely in a position to say this won’t work, I can’t do it.

This line made me think again; maybe this time it may happen.

We all know everything we come across is because God wants to say something. Nothing happens randomly. The universe aligns things at the right time. In this time of rat racing, everyone is in a hurry to achieve something faster; some are completely distracted from this world and drowned in social media.

This year, something we all can commonly change is the time we waste on social media, which must be utilised for taking care of health and peace of mind. The time we give for others’ happiness and others’ dreams, let us give it for ourselves. The priority we give to friends, entertainment, and unimportant things, let’s give it to fulfil our dreams.

Let’s transform ourselves completely and seriously work on our goals. Time is precious. First, we all need to learn to respect time and use it productively. Our parents want only one thing from us, and that is to see their children’s success; let’s decide firmly to fulfil this wish when they are with us.

Till now, whatever happened is a thing of the past. We need to analyse the mistakes and shortcomings and try to correct them. Still, God has given us a chance to correct our mistakes, and He is ready to guide us. It’s just that we need to believe in ourselves and focus on the right things.

The direction of our thinking shapes our life. We should not step back when problems strike. We should be strong enough to first regulate our thinking. One thing about overthinking is that we all are good at it, or pros at overthinking the worst of the worst, but rarely—or nobody—overthinks the best of the best. Why is it so? Because our human brain is such that it thinks of danger and negativity first; it doesn’t think in a good way. That’s why in life, what is good for us, we give reasons to escape from it, like eating healthy food, keeping our body fit and healthy, and leading a disciplined life. Instead, we find excuses not to do any of the above good things. Don’t give up on things easily. Today, no one wants to repair; they want to replace—be it materialistic things or relationships. If it’s spoiled, they want to change it, not try to repair it. Focus on the positive side of life always.
