I’m a bird.
I know mountains, I know valleys—
not from afar, but from close.
I left my nest because it was burning.
I flew far away, close to the darkest caves…
carrying with me the memories of that place.
I reached a land with no name—
as if it didn’t belong to human law,
but belonged to the law of nature.
I came here, still awaiting the chance to accomplish something.
But my hands are entangled in a cage.
Yet I danced, and I laughed,
like a string puppet moving with no direction.
I never surrendered to your ignorance.
You meet mocking people along the way,
but their approach means nothing to you.
Their loud laughter will vanish
when I rise in power.
You devilish creature, I will defeat you.
And my Almighty will stand with me.
I will never, ever give up—
not until I build an abode for you, my love.
You will be devastated.
You will grow.
Then you will break what once broke you.
I will fight with the great shield of a smile,
until my mother returns.
I came here in search of a nest.
My spirit will shatter every shackle.
This pain no longer weakens me—
for once, I had a nest,
and I left my memories there.
I stepped back—
you thought I had given up.
But I bounced back
and broke the chains.
Now you marvel at my strength.
And even though my body still burns,
I stand tall.
