My Angelic Mom...

November 11, 2011

This one is dedicated to my mom up above…

Love u ma... this one is for you

My Angelic Mom

Fondly I remember

The feel I felt in her womb

The womb of a mother so cozy & warm…

Mama prayed & planned everything for me

With millions of dreams she waited in glee…

It was then time for me to come

In the sparkling light of the night

I caused her pain… A lot of pain…

At last she heard a cry of mine…

With mama there

I basked in love & care

Days rolled on

And from class to class I moved on…

After a few years…

One break of dawn,

She was dressed like a bride

And was gone leaving me all all alone!!!!!!

Then...I did not know why

I had to tell her good byeeeeeee…

She waved & went far away from me

And said with tearful eyes... “Oh ma child it had to be me”

So, back to her, I waved & said,

Ma come back soon & I would be here waiting for you...
The love & the care she had shown to me

I lost them all that day

Along the field , above the sea

Up at the heaven I gazed...

My life I thought had ended, before it actually began

God took away my mom & you know what...?

Never ever did she return...

My mamma's death had made me sad

But it was my dad who filled the void

It was you dad,

Who held me through

And I could live because of you...

You gave me life

You gave me joy...

You let no tear escape my eye....

LOVE U DAD.

I too lost my mother 7 months ago and reading your poem made me cry..my mom was born on 5 Aug a day before your mom. I miss her every single day. I want to tell you that you have voiced my thoughts exactly so meaningful and heart touching. I truly believe parents never leave their children even in death continue to guide them from up above. Our mothers are in paradise looking down on us.
