Dr Nuna Goel: Spiritual Counsellor Par Excellence

May 9. 2011

When faced with challenging situations in our relationships, family, work or business spiritual counselling and prayers work. Sometimes when we are overwhelmed by our thoughts and feelings it is useful to talk confidentially with someone who can help us get things into perspective. A spiritual counsellor helps to anchor and support us in focussing on the issues which are affecting us.

Dr Sneh Lata Goel, popularly known as Nuna Goel, is a dynamic, intuitive, seasoned professional, who is immensely experienced in the field of art, homeopathy, psychology and counselling. She was born and brought up in Ambala Cantt (Haryana). She did her schooling at The English School, Ambala Cantt and graduated in BA (Arts) with distinction from SD College, Ambala. She was always very good in her studies and obtained scholarship for her higher studies.

She got married in 1965 to Vishwapal Goel in Bombay (now Mumbai) and is blessed with three children Sheena, Simi and Vishal. In 1974 she came to Kuwait with her family. She has been very active, giving regular tuition to many children up to 12th standard and helping them perform well in their studies.

In 1982 she excelled in fabric paintings and in 1986, after her daughters left for their college education to Cyprus and while her son was performing well in Kuwait English School, she undertook supply business for a major contract to a company with 500 Polish and 500 Pakistani workers in Qurain for 2 years. Simultaneously, she continued her practice in homeopathic medicine which is her passion.

After Kuwait’s liberation, she came back to Kuwait in 1992 and started doing glass paintings. In 1993 she became grandmother for the first time and is now blessed with six grandchildren.

With her quest and hunger for knowledge, she pursued her studies again and obtained BA in spiritual healing, MSc in child psychology and doctorate in philosophy in divinity and spirituality from Corllins University in USA. Furthermore, she also obtained an MSc in counselling psychology, doctorate in spiritual counselling and doctorate in science in astrology from Belford University.

After all her children got married and settled down, she had more time for herself. Since childhood, she was surrounded with spiritual prayers and a truthful and disciplined routine like early to bed and early to rise. In 2005 she met a person in India who told her she had the power of healing, and from him she also learned many things.

Since 2005, she has been using her healing powers to help many people. They recognized her efforts and approached her to seek guidance and blessings. She actively started practicing counselling and has successfully handled more than a thousand cases. She has always been intuitive and practical when it comes to resolving situations.

She then started doing charity and sponsoring events as well as conducting spiritual healing. She has guided people in various aspects of life - healthcare, family values, yoga, dedication to work, inner peace and harmony, how to live a full and happy life, unconditional love – basically she preaches to live every moment of life.

She is known for her presence of mind, clarity and refined capacity to guide people in the right direction and offers realistic solutions. Her honest and transparent approach combined with her blessings has reulted in numerous satisfied clients. They have successfully come to terms with their personal and business concerns leading them on track to their desired paths.

Her source and inspiration is her mother who taught her many important lessons in life, like being practical, the laws of nature, mottos like "do your duties, rewards will follow", "live simple life without comparisons", "be truthful to yourself” and "believe in God".

Since childhood she used to take part in the ceremonies of all religions and celebrate different Indian festivals. After coming to Kuwait, she started celebrating Eid and Christmas too. She believes that every person is a human being first and that all religions teach us to be good.

Since 1973, she has been living in Kuwait and made it her home. Her advice to all the associations in Kuwait is that one should render one's services to all human beings, with special care for children and youth. She also asks everyone to do small charity for needy Kuwaiti children too as gratitude towards Kuwait.

Dr Nuna Goel believes her achievements are a gift from God and she continues to offer her services in pursuit of humanity and mankind. She understands the language of humanity and gives her time for the service of humanity. She is well-versed in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Punjabi, Marathi, spoken Arabic and her hobbies include reading, homeopathy, cooking, painting, knitting, music and travelling. She asks everyone to celebrate and live every moment.

Dr. Nuna Goel is down to earth personality. She is known for philanthropical activities and counselling. I had oportunity to listen her during intecession conducted by one of famous cultural group here in kuwait. From her words one can sense the family values, simplicity, humbleness , time sense for which she gives the first priority. I wish Nuna Madam all the best and a healthy life. May many more broken families benefit from her counselling and enjoy the beautiful life. All the best wishes from Jackson DSouza
