Mangaluru, Dec 4: An Air India Express flight No. NO-IX 745 from Kannur to Sharjah had to perform emergency landing at the airport here on Friday December 3. It is learnt that a woman passenger of the flight suddenly developed breathing complications, forcing the crew to land the flight here.

The flight path was diverted and it landed here at 10.02 am. The woman was admitted into a hospital in the city.

The flight again took to the sky at 11.28 am after four persons including two children who were with the woman cut short their journey.
