Mangaluru, Oct 19: The 33rd annual general body meeting of Mandd Sobhann, an important Konkani organization was held in Kalangan, Mangaluru on October 4. Members that have been elected for the committee also elected the office bearers for the year 2020-21.

Eric Ozario was elected Gurkar; Louis J Pinto, president; Navin Lobo, vice president; Stany Alvares, convener; Kishore Fernandes, secretary; Sunil Monteiro joint secretary, Elron Rodrigues, treasurer and Victor Mathais was elected the public relations officer.

Arun Raj Rodrigues, Bannu Fernandes, Irene Rebello, Rony Crasta, Clara D’Cunha, Lawrence D’Souza, Jasmine Lobo, Ravindra M Nayak, Lavina Danti, Joel Mascarenhas and James Lopez were the elected members.

Joy Fernandes (Goa), Dayan D’Souza (Dubai), Sunil D’Silva (Qatar) and Hariet Vidyasagar (USA) were appointed representatives.

Roy Castelino (sponsor) and Ronald Mendonca (Kalangan chairman) are the ex-officio members.
