Accounting to violations of the precautionary measures, the Dubai municipality closed three businesses.

After two warnings, the authority closed two smoking areas and a food establishment.

The authority said that it discovered 102 violations from 2,601 visits to institutions with 96 per cent commitment rate to precautionary measures from the businesses visited.

The Dubai municipality, in a tweet, said that it was keeping the public 'safe by monitoring the work of environmental and health institutions, food institutions and their markets and assessing their compliance with public safety standards and necessary precautionary measures'.
