Mangaluru: ‘Cabinet extension matter left to discretion of CM’ - Nalin Kumar Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Aug 2: "The matter of cabinet extension is left completely for the discretion of chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa. He will decide on this after having discussion with national BJP leaders," said state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Nalin spoke to the scribes on Saturday, August 1 in the city.

On the query whether Sullia MLA Angara will get a cabinet birth in case of ministry expansion, Nalin said, "We have demanded and also it is my opinion that Angara should get minister position. CM Yediyurappa will see the pros and cons and provide suitable position to Angara."

Answering the query on the possible changes if there is cabinet extension, Nalin said, "Chief minister Yediyurappa and national BJP leaders will discuss in this regard."

Let them take care of Corona expansion! They have decided people will take care of it as they are brainwashed! Better install labs to test Corona! Who will make them understand? Gatta and north people controlling the revenue of coastal regions... our reps are shy to ask our share of developments! If Corona goes away tomorrow they are back in press meet, bandhs and what not! I pity upbringing of ABVP too! Most of them are dreaming crores with useless protests! Now all in temporary hibernation! What a pity!

MLA Angara should be inducted in the cabinet. He is a five time member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly so he should be in the cabinet. Nalin being the BJP state president should see to it that Angara becomes a minister. What happens to BJP's Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas?

Karnataka govt should access whether there is a need and demand from the people to expand the cabinet versus only to appease and to create unnecessary position for MPs and MLAs to offer a plush job as favour at tax payers expense during this challenging times keeping in mind the present conditions. Is there a need to have 2-3 deputy CMs while the PM has none????????.....As long as BJP is ruling it hardly matters whether there is a cabinet or no. People are not benefitted in anyway and no justification for thier tax money paid to the state govt.
