Dubai, Feb 17: Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), UAE announces World Beary Convention and Chammana 2010 to be held at the Radisson Hotel (Zabeel Ball Room), Creek Side here on Thursday April 1 and Friday April 2.
The main objectives of the World Beary Convention and Chammana 2010 are to conduct mega Beary cultural gathering in the United Arab Emirates, to introduce, disseminate and felicitate the achievements of the top Bearys of the World in their concerned field, to uphold the culture of the Bearys and meeting the professional educational excellence and provide an opportunity to interact with the renowned “Thought Leaders” from India and UAE and felicitate them.
External affairs minister of India S M Krishna is expected to be the guest of honour, while Janab Sheikhuna A P Abubaker Musliar Kantapuram, Rajyasabha MP Oscar Fernandes, Dakshina Kannada district in-chage minister Krishna Palemar, Mangalore MLA U T Khader and former minister B A Moideen among others will be special invitees. Zafarullah Khan, chief advisor and Bajpe Zakaria, NRI patron, BCF will be the special guests.

About the Convention
World Bearys Convention 2010 will also bring together a distinguished panel of speakers including academicians from renowned business schools, management thinkers, experts, senior Government policy makers and businessmen around the world. The function of the World Beary Convention 2010 has been divided into two sections.
As part of the conference, on Thursday April 1 from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm speeches on “Colloquium on Beary literature and other contemporary academic and industry research” by the distinguished panel of speakers will be held. The topics will include “Role of women in the development of the economy”, “global environment concerns”, “Ethical issues”, “Global competitive challenges – vision 2020” and “Islamic education for peaceful purpose” and “Education to match the revolutionary changes”.
On the day two, the day of the conference on Friday April 2, mega cultural programme of the Karnataka State for the whole day followed by the felicitation function in the evening.

About the BCF
Dr B K Yusuf, MEPHA, Switzerland and BCF president along with B M Farooque constituted BCF under the auspices of the Indian Islamic Centre, Dubai in order to provide education to the poor masses of the coastal parts of the State of Karnataka. BCF’s main objective is to promote, educate and create social, cultural and educational awareness amongst the Bearys and the downtrodden population of the coastal Karnataka State and the UAE. The BCF regularly conducts cultural, sports, talent search, educational activities, career guidance seminars and Iftar Party among others every year.
