Offices allowed to reopen with 50% capacity in Dubai

Dubai, May 27: According to a comprehensive and updated list of guidelines issued by Dubai Economy, offices were allowed to reopen from Wednesday.

However, with a view to keep social distancing in mind, the organisations will be allowed to increase the occupancy ceiling to 50 per cent capacity in the common areas and within the office premises.

In a report by Khaleej Times, it was stated, that the organisations can also have a workforce capacity of 50 per cent working from the office, as opposed to the previous cap of 30 per cent.

All elevators must have markings on the floor that indicate appropriate social distances and users must comply by standing on these markings, it added.
