Moodbidri, Mar 29: In an incident that occurred on Saturday, 10 labourers of Koppala origin were left stranded in the town as they could not go to their native place due to the lock down that is ordered across India.

These labourers set out on foot from Bantwal to Koppala. Someone told them that the sub-inspector of Moodbidri police station will help them to get to Koppala. Accordingly, they approached the Moodbidri police station. As it is not possible to send them to their native place, SI Dinesh Kumar and taluk tahsildar Anitalaxmi made arrangements for their stay and food.
