Kuwait, Feb 15: Security authorities here are looking for a Bangladeshi parliamentarian allegedly involved in visa trade in the city. He is said to have gifted away five expensive cars to senior government officials here so that he gets government contracts for the company he runs in the country. It is said that a large number of Bangladeshi workers he brought to Kuwait have paid huge sums to him. His wife too is said to be a parliamentarian back home.

It is said that he has transferred most of his wealth to America and has a partnership with a citizen of USA. He was once a supervisor in one of the company of cleaning workers and became a partner in it.

He submitted bids for tenders despite knowing that he will incur loss. However it allowed him to bring Bangladeshi workers into the country charging hefty sums deposited in bank accounts outside Kuwait. CID personnel are investigating the case.
