Mangaluru: Biruver Kudla holds cricket tournament to raise money for cancer victims

Mangaluru, Jan 26: Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla held a cricket tournament at Ballalbagh on Saturday to raise money for the treatment of Cancer victims.

MLA Dr Bharath Shetty who inaugurated the tournament said that we can boldly say that Biruver Kudla is one that has provided more than Rs 1.5 crore assistance by being Kamadhenu of the poor during the last five years. “It is a model for others that Biruver Kudla is collecting money through cricket and giving it to two cancer affected families,” he said.

Dr Shivasharan Shetty commended the pro society work of Biruver Kudla.

Manoj, Leelavati, Kiran Kodikal, Sriram Sanitary’s Dinesh Pai brothers, Biruver Kudla founder president Uday Poojary, president Rakesh Ballalbagh and others were present. Six teams took part in the cricket tournament.
