Mangaluru: Alert medicos stop fake doctor from examining patients

Mangaluru, Jan 14: A fake doctor visited a private hospital at Deralakatte and tried to examine the patients there. When the staff who suspected something fishy questioned him, he fled, leaving behind his car.

The fake doctor in question has been identified as Muhammed Habib Husain (28), a native of Shivamogga. He visited the hospital on Monday January 13, stated the name of a doctor for reference, and began to examine the patients. The hospital staff questioned him further at which he developed cold feet and escaped.

Ullal police, who have impounded his car, are conducting investigation.
