Udupi: Cake mixing ceremony held by Legado Hotels

Udupi, Dec 15: Grand cake mixing ceremony was held by Legado Hotels, a unit of Manipal Inn, at their brand new premise at Karavali bypass, on Saturday, December 14.

Mor Osthatheos Issac, bishop Metropolitan of Mylapore diocese, Tamil Nadu, Fr Valerian Mendonca, parish priest, Udupi, Fr Alban D'Souza, parish priest, Kalmady, conducted the prayer service.

The guests also mixed the soaked dry fruits to be used in Christmas cakes.  Tiny tots of Early Learning Centre Mangaluru, joined hands with the guests and helped them to mix the dry fruits.



Legado Hotels, is a unit of Manipal Inn ventures. It is situated near to Karavali bypass on NH66. It is an 8 storied building with a 24x7 open restaurant with state-of-the-art Italian and Western cuisine.

The hotel has a special 'Udupi Rasoi' and multi cuisine restaurant. Legado hotels also has varied options for party spaces. A grand millennium convention center on the 8th floor is designed to accommodate 1,500 people suitable for all occasions. 'Cindrella', a special party place for the children is also designed.

"This hotel is a landmark building in Udupi. We are ready to serve the people for all their party needs. Today my dream has become true. I believe in humanity is religion. We have four restaurants along with four halls for party purposes. My dream is that this facility should be used by all the people," said Ibrahim Moulana Gangolli, owner Legado Hotels.

Biju Vargheese, executive director Remesh Ramachandran, general manager Sonal Shetty Rao, architect and others were present on the occasion. Komal Jenifer D'Souza, compered the programme.
