Bengaluru: Angry journalist stabs bike rider after road accident

Bengaluru, Nov 29: A journalist who recklessly drove a car and dashed it against a motor bike, attacked the bike rider with a knife after the biker questioned him. The incident happened on Thursday November
28.

Charles Denga, who represents an English daily, was the person who stabbed the bike rider. Charles who was driving his car hit a motor bike near Halasuru Tank circle due to rash driving. Raviteja, who was riding the bike, questioned Denga about his rash driving. Charles Denga got violent, abused the bike driver and stabbed him with a knife, it is said. Raviteja, who suffered serious injuries in his neck and chest, is being treated in a private hospital.

An attempt to murder case was registered in Bharatinagar police station. The accused has been arrested. City (east) deputy commissioner of police Sharanappa, said that the accused has been taken into custody and being questioned.

    This is a violent crime of killing a human being during an altercation; somehow the journalist concerned lost his senses. While he did carry the knife presumably for his own protection, the killing doesn't amount to murder which requires ore-meditation.
