Udupi: Women entrepreneurs to exhibit their entrepreneurial skills at Power Parba on Nov 25

Udupi, Nov 25: A platform of Women Entrepreneurs Regd (POWER) organized a press meet at Press Club, here on November 25 concerning Power Parba - 2020 exhibition, for women entrepreneurs to exhibit their entrepreneur skills to the public.

Shruthi G Shenoy, president of POWER and managing partner of Hotel Ashlesh, Manipal addressed the media and stated that POWER is a non–profit and non-government organization based in Udupi district. "It is a proud moment for us to organize the marketing fair 'POWER PARBA' for the third time from January 10 to 12 at Beedinagudde Bailoor Ranga Mantapa, Udupi. More than 100 women entrepreneurs will take part in the exhibition where they will showcase their entrepreneurial skills. Stalls will be set up by women entrepreneurs and food stalls and product stalls will be exhibited. This exhibition will provide a platform for women and POWER is trying to help them exhibit their entrepreneurial skills and contribute to their family and society."

Supriya Kamath, secretary of POWER and managing director of Uttam Agro Industries Pvt Ltd said that POWER exhibition will be conducted to inspire women entrepreneurs and showcase and also inform the public about their products. POWER will be visiting colleges and will ensure that more students also participate in the exhibition and the information gets passed on to women regarding the exhibition. Participants can register their names up to December 15. On account of the success of POWER in the two years, more than 100 participants are expected this year."

Pushpa G Rao, vice-president of POWER and managing partner of General Crafters and Refrigeration Pvt Ltd, Laxmi Rao, treasurer of POWER and owner of Krishna Homemade Food, Sona P, organizing secretary of POWER and managing partner of London Opticals, Priya Kamath, joint secretary of POWER and owner of Alankrita Web Boutique, Rashmi Vijendra, exhibitor, committee chairperson of POWER and managing partner of Bharatanjali, House of Performing Arts were present at the press meet.
