Dabolim stationery shop catches fire, estimated loss worth Rs 2 lac

Dabolim, Nov 11: On Sunday morning, a stationery shop at Dabolim caught fire. Although the cause for the fire is not known, it is assumed that an electricity overload may have caused it.

Reportedly, the owner of the shop Hariram Ghanchi suffered losses worth Rs 2 lac. Ghanchi lost several materials in the fire, including the furniture placed inside the shop.

As soon as Vasco fire station was alerted of the emergency, they arrived at the scene and doused the fire in an hour.
