Emirati woman killed in deadly road accident, sister fatally injured

Ras Al Khaimah, Nov 8: On Thursday, a 42-year-old Emirati tragically died in a road accident at the Huwailat area in Ras Al Khaimah.
 
The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, Col Ahmad Al Naqbi, RAK Police, asserted that the 38-year-old sister of the deceased was seriously injured in the accident.
 
"Initial enactment of the road accident showed that the driver lost control of the steering wheel, veered off the road, and turned over several times."
 
 
The Central Operations Room of the RAK Police sent out an alert regarding the accident at 11 am. On receiving the alert traffic patrols, ambulances, paramedics and rescue crews were dispatched to the site.
 
"The body of the deceased, who was driving when the crash took place, was shifted to the morgue for burial by relatives. The injured sister was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment and medical care," Naqbi said.
 
The police officials have already undertaken investigations to identify the cause behind the accident.
