SOsad.such a young girl is no more.whatever the reason is ,truth is girl will be missed in the family for ever. How come the other family members didnt makeout of her absence? In India mostly in villages we see lot of open ponds full with water without proper boundrys. In rainy season there is chance of slipping and falling into it.Since this year has rained a lot, sometimes may not make out where is the sand ,and fall in.Hope she has not done herself or others to her.heartfelt sympathy to the family.may the truth comeout soon and her soul rest in peace.

Usually, people who live in villages or farm houses are well trained to swim (in ponds) from their childhood. (including girls.) Postmortem result would establish actual cause of the death.

Om Shanti..I feel this is not a natural fall. Thorough investigation may reveal. Poor girl was probably tense because of exams.

In any case, she is gone forever. May her soul rest in peace. May Almighty give the strength to her parents to bear this pain Ameen.

These sad incidents seem to be happening frequently around the villages of DK and Udipi. So many lives have been lost unnecessarily. Why are these open ponds and lakes not fenced or cordoned off with warning signs, especially those which are located close to footpaths? If these are located on private land, why does the Administration not issue notices to the owners to take necessary action? The pain of this unnecessary and preventable loss of life can only be felt by the families of the victims, for others it is just another piece of news to be read and forgotten.

I don't need to provide you with a list of my contributions. I am not Modi nor his bhakt and I am not contesting elections. My job as a citizen is to question which I will do openly and contribute quietly.
