Mangaluru, Sep 17: Shanadi Ajith Kumar Hegde, currently functioning as additional director and chief accounts officer of watershed development department at Bengaluru, has been appointed as the commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation.
Shanadi Ajith Kumar Hegde has been posted as commissioner of city corporation Mangaluru in the vacancy created by the transfer of Mohammed Nazeer, with immediate effect.
The transfer order was issued on September 16. It may be recalled that Hegde had earlier served as commissioner of the city corporation here a few years back, and his transfer and re-transfer then had given rise to lot of one-upmanship among political circles.
