Kundapur, Sep 12: A truck laden with biscuits and rusk caught fire on Siddapur-Kundapur connecting road near Kandlur police station on Thursday, September 12.
The fire was noticed when the truck approached the police station. The vehicle was plying from Kundapur to Shivamogga.
The fire started due to the short circuit in the tail light of the vehicle, it is said. Biscuits and rusk worth Rs 3.5 lac approximately went up in flames.
Kundapur fire service personnel, who reached the spot, extinguished the fire.
