Mangaluru: Tigress Rani from Pilikula gives birth to 5 cubs

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Sep 1: A tigress at Pilikula Nisarga Dhama named Rani gave birth to five cubs recently. Three of them are female and 2 are male.

It is said that normally a tigress gives birth to only around 2 to 3 cubs. It is rare to see birth of 5 cubs.

The cubs can be viewed only after 3 months, said the officials at Pilikula Nisarga Dhama.

Rani is eight years old and she was brought here 3 years back from Banerghatta zoo.

Pilikula Nisarga Dhama presently has 8 tigers. Five of them are male and 3 of them are female.

Super .five new cabs to mama Rani is sensation Specialists say that when their food regularities are good then they bear multiple offsprings.when less food available then animals body too is lessen it.It is good that this tigress has more cubs.Nowadays tiger popuation in the world is seriously gone back .Because of less wildnis, more hunting of their fell ,and bones for chnese medicines , dentures.Hope these will remain healthy.and enrich our wildnis.

Charles demelloPangla, because cubs have not opened eyes, foto lights may effect them and mom Rani too might get aggressive and let the cubs leave there or she may takeaway .They have to get accustomed to lights and people who come in big groups.Tigers are very shy ,avoid Public.
