The FSL report had reached the forensic experts who had conducted postmortem of Siddhartha's mortal remains, on Monday last. Sources said that the final report was delivered to the investigating officer of the case on Friday.

The body of Siddhartha, who had jumped into River Netravati from the bridge at Ullal, had been found two days later some distance away from the spot. The doctors who conducted postmortem had sent their report to regional forensic science laboratory.

In the meantime, preliminary postmortem report had been sent to the investigating officer, duly mentioning that final report would be submitted after the receipt of the FSL report. The report then had identified the cause of death as suffocation. The final postmortem too has confirmed the said observation now, it is learnt.

The report had identified the cause of death as suffocation. The final postmortem too has confirmed the said observation now, it is learnt. So, how suffocation can mean suicide? If someone is pushed to the river, will his death in the water prove that he was pushed into the water?
