Bahrain: Karnataka Social Club hosts India’s Independence Day

Bahrain, Aug 21: Karnataka Social Club, here, recently held an event to commemorate India’s 73rd Independence Day at its Manama premises.

The event started with the recitation of the National Anthem by the members of the executive committee and the ladies wing members.

This was followed by a cultural programme featuring members and their children taking part in patriotic songs like Saare Jahan Se Achaa Desh Hamara, Mere Waton Ke Logo, Mera Mulk Mera Desh and many others.

A lively dandia session ensured that members had a great evening celebrating India’s Independence in a patriotic spirit.



A light dinner concluded the event close to midnight.
