Mangaluru, Aug 20: St Ann's PU College celebrated Eco-Friendship Day on August 17 in the college campus.

A group of friends from each class came forward with full zeal and enthusiasm to celebrate their friendship in a unique way.

The friends planted a sapling as a mark of their friendship promising that with the growth of the plant their friendship too will grow and the essence of it will be appreciated by all.



Pranitha Pinto, the convener of the programme, interacted with the students. When asked about their interest in being involved in this act, their wholehearted approach towards making our world green was commendable.

The students marked this day as eco-friendship day and thanked principal Sr Marilda A C, for giving this opportunity to show their friendship with the nature.
