Moodbidri, Jul 24: The south west portion of the house belonging to Shantamma Harischandra Acharya in Gurumatha Kalikamba temple premises has collapsed here on Tuesday afternoon, July 23 due to heavy rain.
Fortunately, none of the residents were hurt as all of them were out.
The kitchen of the house in south east had fallen during last monsoon. Shantamma was getting a small house constructed after the incident. But the work of that house was not completed.
The wall of the house under construction is also damaged in the current mishap.
