Man flashes on Skype, woman tweets complaint to Mumbai Police

Mumbai, Jul 14: The Khar police have engaged in a manhunt to find a man who has been booked for indulging in a obscene act. The victim of the act is a scriptwriter from Mumbai who approached the police stating that the accused flashed her via Skype. 

The incidents which unfolded involved the accused, an unknown person, calling the victim's Skype number. Once connected, the accused, flashed her and masturbated on screen. The woman was completely taken aback by this gesture, so much that she immediately registered an online case. She tweeted about the act to Mumbai police who then asked her to visit the Khar police station to file an FIR.
 

According to the woman, throughout the video, the face of the accused was not visible. The woman visited the police on a Saturday and registered a case.

In a comment, an officer from the Khar police station said, "This is the first such case registered against a person who flashed and masturbated online. Usually we get complaints about such incidents occurring on the road. We will take the help of the cyber police to trace the contact number of the accused."

A case against the accused has been registered under IPC section 509 and also under section 67 of the Information Technology Act.
