Mangaluru: Cricket betting - Police arrest three, confiscate cash, mobile phone, car

Mangaluru, Jul 12: Ullal police arrested two people in connection with the cricket betting and confiscated Rs 70,000 in cash, five mobile phones and a Hyundai Creta car bearing registration number KA 19 MH 4733.

The arrested accused are Santhosh alias Santhu (35), a resident of Narla House, Talapadu village of Mangaluru taluk and Jeevan Kumar (25), a resident of Francis Compound, Lower Bendore, Kankanady.

Mangaluru East police arrested one person for cricket betting and confiscated Rs 70,000 cash from him and one mobile phone. He is identified as Nishanth (21), a native of Spandana, I B Road, Kurnad Mudipu of Bantwal taluk, presently residing at J V Hegde house, Bikarnakatte.
