Poor Girl must be going through depression and needs help. Her Aunt has put it rightly. I am happy that her aunt says she is a good girl and they will try to help her. Why give negative comments and make the situation worse for the girl. Have mercy on this girl who may be going through heavy depression.

Mangalore is supposed to smart city, smart people and smart talents. Use them for the benefit of everyone and try to enhance the reputation of Mangalore. Please, I repeat Please, do not harass the girl or her family people especially her parents with your negative comments.

    @ Shankar,
    Your logic sounds bit strange!
When we attain the age of being a major means we have full liberty to act do whatever we wish and that too going against the morals and principles laid down by our elders especially our parents. Not at all.
I do not want to contradict your lines but would ask you a question whether you would have been so liberal and sat quiet if such situation if at all arises in the family.
I am not digging personal matter only as a contention of your thought.

    I preach what I act.
But not shying away from the responsibilities back at home while living life of your choice is condemnable, however that too is on one's own prerogative.

There seems to be a third person involved in planning all dramatics and future plans. Real secrets will be extracted by the police after further investigation in the incident.

Glad that she has been found. Appreciate the effort of our police force, family and all concerned.

Saddened reading comments passed here. We just do not make any attempt to rise above religion & politics. People have forgotten humanity.

Its very easy to write a stupid & a silly comment without knowing the facts, the situation of the child, parents, and members of the family that they are going through. In these days many are clued to relate to incidents that they see in movies and social media forwards. Lets take a moment to think if we were in the place of the parents in this situation then would we like to read comments posted here by some fools & sick people. they are yet to grow up in life.

This is my brothers daughter. Before you place any blame on her for going to school for enjoyment or coming back married, understand her situation before you give your stupid input. She has beautiful parents, she did not run away with anyone as she was found alone. Unfortunately, she suffers from a case of depression and we will do our best to help her. She is a very good girl god bless and would never do such for the wrong reason.

    True Mary Menezes .

Some readers without knowing the real fact and issue , they comment like any thing .

Other day somebody using name of JP James was advising senior citizen to count his days ! These kind of attitudes higłly intolerable.

God has to forgive these people .

But I am happy that Venishas disappearances ended happily and she reunited with her parents and loved ones

    God bless Venisha

May I request you all to restrain from giving your verdict before you verify the true facts please?

Please read her aunt, Ms. Mary Menezes, New York's an open and painful statement that Venisha is suffering from a case of depression….
Let us all be kind and compassionate towards the case. It is none of our business to comment anything, which hurts the family.

It’s really heartenibg to see the pains of the parents of this little girl, Venisha Reema Menezes, and the thoughtless comments made there upon.
If at all in the news item , if there was a mention of She was suffering from depression, the comments box would have been entirely different.
God bless the Menezes family and especially Venisha with good health.

    Dear Mary,

I am very sorry for your dear niece, Venisha and her parents, who are going through during this difficult times. I know what 'depression' is and its impact on human beings. For some , depression could be due to some personal situations and for some due to major / terminal disease.

Hope and pray that Venisha will be alright very soon and healthy.

Wish you and all the family members all the best. God bless.

Allen, please don't give foolish comments in public forum. None of us know the reason, it appears that the girl was in depression so she left a note. If it was your own child how would you feel when someone gave a silly comment? First know the fact and then talk! Everyone faces situation such as hers at least once in lifetime

Remember one thing Nothing is more important and precious in this world then your Father & Mother who have sacrificed everything for their children's happiness. by the time you will realize this it may be too late. you can still speak to your parents and get their blessings if you like someone.
