Udupi: Taxi driver commits suicide jumping in front of running train

Udupi, Jun 19: A taxi driver faced with acute financial constraints committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train on Wednesday morning, June 19.

The deceased taxi driver is Manipal Hudco colony resident Dinesh (52). He had got his daughter married recently and was facing financial issues. Meanwhile, his son had driven car without license and caused accident at Moodbidri. The incidents increased the problems of Dinesh.

Dinesh committed suicide on railway tracks near Suvarna river bridge under Duranta Express train that was running to Delhi in the morning. He used to operate his taxi in Manipal.
