Bantwal, May 25: Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament (MP), Nalin Kumar Kateel, predicted that BJP government under B S Yeddyurappa's leadership will take charge of the state within a week since the new government under Narendra Modi rises to power at the centre. He was addressing the party's activists during his visit to BJP office at B C Road here, which happened to be his first visit here after registering a hat-trick of victories, on Friday May 24 night.

Nalin pointed out that Dakshina Kannada district had got maximum grants when Yeddyurappa was the chief minister of the state. He also felt that if the same party rules at the centre and the state, it helps in bringing additional grants. "This election has proved that the people do not approve of luxurious style of family politics. Prime Minister, Modi, has laid emphasis on sacrifice and a life of detachment from luxuries, and the people have approved his principles," he noted.

"Dakshina Kannada district has been electing BJP MPs since the last 28 years, and it now has seven BJP MLAs. It has realized Modi's concept of Congress-free rule. By electing 25 BJP MPs in Karnataka, the people have rid Karnataka of Congress party. The Congress is even ineligible to be officially recognized as opposition party," he stated.

MLA, Rajesh Naik, speaking after honouring the MP, said that Bantwal constituency has proved itself as a strong fortress of the BJP with his election with a margin of over 32,000 votes as compared to previous election. State BJP associate spokesperson, Sulochana G K Bhat, district spokesperson, Harikrishna Bantwal, district vice president, G Anand, block committee general secretary, Monappa Devasya, party leaders, Dinesh Amtoor, Dinesh Bhandary, Purushotham Shetty Vamadapadavu, Vasantkumar Annalike, Vajranath Kalladka, Bollukallu Narayana Poojary, Ranjith Myra, Pramod Kumar Ajjibetty, Santosh Kuar Bettu, Harish Acharya and municipal councillors were present.

The newly elected MP was felicitated on this occasion by party workers. Kateel, during this visit, also sought the blessings of Taniappa Madiwala, father of the slain Sharath Madiwala. Ramadas Bantwal welcomed land proposed vote of thanks.

Guys please understand, its the victory of certain mindset, not candidate. This mindset created slowly and steadily over the years through hate speeches, attacks and so on. Thats the reason we have such non qualified people in government and this trend will continue till we emotional Indians can see the reality but it will take time. May be a generation or two. Till then get fooled by empty promises, face few attacks here n there specially on worship places, enjoy hate speeches if you can or make it a habit from today onwards to enjoy 'em because youll be hearing many of 'em in coming days, also enjoy non sense speeches like, extra ordinary GDP figures, extradiction of Mr Mallya and other guys to India (it will be in next election agenda). work hard, earn livelyhood - because nobody is going to deposit money in your account for free . Try to live happily.

Frankly speaking to all BJP karyakartas,

Have we ever seen worst governance after Yeddy 's ,we have witnessed horrible things under his government, pub attacks, homestay attack, church attacks.

To get into stability of state,Congress worked very hard. Our state congress is very strong and BJP is very weak.It was achallenge for Sidharamaiyyaji to restore back all in its place, now again you want to destroy.First complete the pumpwell flyover, complete airport works. Then talk about ruling this state.

If karnataka lost so many seats in LS polls is because of fooliness of Gowda and family, not KPCC.We have the most fine politicians in our cabinet.
If UPA had won then trust me ,atleast 3-5 from karnataka would have been in central ministry post.Karnataka would have been prospered swiftly. But our people want only their destruction .

    Jai ho

It is high time for BJP to form government in the state now, people have completely rejected the coalition govt., they have no moral right to rule the assembly .....
HD Kumaraswamy is solely responsible for BJP's rise in the state ..... step our from this unholy coalition and respect the people's mandate ....

Karnataka people rejected upa at center and give mandate to nda. However, same ppl rejected bjp(nda) in karnataka and give mandate to upa. Its an vise decession on part to karnataka voters. This is clear indication that they voted for the leadership and not for the candidate. They decided for center modi is a better choice than rahul and for state kumaraswamy/sidaramaya is better choice than yediyurappa.

If at all something is wrong its leadership not party!

    Jai hind.
