Bengaluru: KPCC president says he does not trust poll survey predictions

Bengaluru, May 21: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, Dinesh Gundu Rao, expressed the view that the post-poll predictions relating to Lok Sabha poll have not been reflecting the actual position. Therefore, he said he has no faith in these predictions.

Speaking to media persons at his residence on Monday May 20, Gundu Rao said that the central government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has not given development-oriented rule during the last five years. He expressed surprise at the predictions which favour BJP and its allies in a large way irrespective of various problems plaguing the people which the government had failed to address.

He said that in many cases, poll surveys do not come true. He exuded the confidence that the coalition parties will win more seats than the ones predicted i n the surveys in Karnataka. He also said that he is confident that Congress party will win a large number of seats both in the state and elsewhere in the country.
