Udupi, May 21: Opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary has slammed media adviser of former chief minister Siddaramaiah Dinesh Amin Mattu criticising that he has insulted Krishna Math and Pejawar Swamiji in his talk.

Dinesh had said that Krishna match is the centre of communal hatred and Pejawar Swamiji is its leader. Kota Srinivas Poojary objecting to the statement said that it is the most painful incident.

“Pejawar Swamiji is an elderly person and wise. He had held an Iftar meeting where people like you were not invited. How he becomes communal just because he said that there should be Rama Mandir in Ayodhya? How do you say that the math is the center of communal people? Krishna math is an important temple of Hindu religion. Speaking lightly after Pejawar Swamiji is condemnable,” he said.

“Election survey has caused movement in the country. Our expectation of getting more than 350 seats has become a reality. Ghatbandhan in the country is shredded to pieces. We will win more than 22 seats in Karnataka. There were cracks in coalition government during elections. Internal differences will reach its peak and break the coalition into pieces. Horatti, veteran politician has understood that coalition government will not survive. BJP will win more than 300 seats in the country on its own. Mamata Banerjee does not trust voters in the country and therefore on voting machines. If she wins, she will say that everything is alright. She doubts due to fear of losing. It is not good for democracy.”

Regarding statement by CM that he will restrict media, he said that it was not possible during emergency. “Such cheap tricks do not work in democratic country,” he said.
