Kundapur, Apr 16: Vidhan Parishad opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary and MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty set in motion road show for BJP Lok sabha candidate Shobha Karandlaje.

The rally held from Kundapur Shastri circle went via new bus stand and concluded back in Shastri circle. Thousands of activists shouted slogans for Modi.

Kota Srinivas Poojary said that Shobha will win by more than two lac votes this time. “BJP supported candidate Sumalatha will win in Mandya, BJP’s Basavaraj in Tumakur and Manju in Hassan. There is no doubt of getting amazing results. Modi will become prime minister again after securing more than 300 seats,” he said.

Haladi Srinivas Shetty said that votes should be cast on the basis of development and not on the basis of religion. “I am glad that Kundapur vidha sabha constituency is secular,” he said.

Block president Suresh Shetty, Kiran Kodgi, Bhasker Billa, Shanker Ankadakatte, Sunil Herikudru, Sathish Poojary Vakwadi, Gunarathna, Srilatha Suresh, Lakshami Manju Billa and others were present.
