HDK govt allots Rs 200 cr for formation of Christian Development Corporation

Mangaluru, Feb 8: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy in his interim budget on Friday allotted Rs 200 crore for the formation of Christian Development Corporation.

Following the announcement of board, the leaders of Christian community thanked former MLA J R Lobo who had formed a parliamentary committee for the development of Christian community. Currently MLC Ivan D souza is the member of this committee. 

Catholic Sabha and other community organizations hailed J R Lobo, Ivan D souza and other leaders who were behind the formation of the board.

Besides, CM also allotted Rs 400 crore for the completion of development works undertaken for providing basic infrastructure in the areas predominantly inhabited by the minorities.

    anything happens good from govt to Christians it will be a red flag by many chellas who hate us but many of their ancestors, fathers, mothers, kids took advantages of catholic schools, hospitals, and many other services at minimal cost or for free has not appreciated. that is the difference being Christians and others. This issue has become a worldwide issue even in north America and Europe many refugees from middle east come like a poor and all of sudden they show their true colour of don't care attitude. it is very hurtfull for chrisitans to see the work of the Christians has not appreciated and the same time it is a sad event to see those who benifited from Christians services from many years talk against or go against Christians. we Christians always do go and see the better world for all.

    In a secular country the govt. should abolish this practice of providing grants to religions and communities. A general board for the welfare of the economically backward people should be created irrespective of caste and creed.

    Wats wrong Christian community atleast got some thing first time, see Yeddiurrappa has given crores and crores to mutts when ever he visit he will anounce 25 croes to them, actually it is a safe game.

    Whatever money comes to Christian's they use that money to build a school or orphanage or a homeless shelter etc.who benefits out of it govt. Who use this facility every one without religious bias. So give 200 crores and benifit the govt by 800 crores. That is how the business works everywhere.govt is smart .

    We should have a committee of eminent people to ensure we have the right people with vision to make sure funds are utilized properly.
    Some leading lawyers , educationists, media people like Faye dsouza, and entrrprenurs - we need lot of real entrepreunrs in this to help youth with jobs and career counseling and start up business

    This is ridiculous. The Govt does not have money for poor farmers but has funds for this largesse. To be fair HDK has allocated funds to mutt; rightly so, as Govt fleased money from these endowments. But why for Christian Dev whatever? Mosques and Churches do not come under endowment. Then Why? Christian institutions should shun this largesse. It is these kind of acts that sows seeds of enimity.

    Can you make an attempt to respond to Hindu worship place (to construct temple) in UAE., when our honorable PM visited some time back...,
    Be a gentlemen & think nobly..., when highly intellectual Hindustani engineers flying to beef consuming Christian countries to earn their daily bread in abundance.., and thus remitting in millions & billions to their home land called Hindustan....????

    The ethos of REAL Hinduism preach & practice says - Vasudaiva Kutumbam., Sarva Dharma Samabhava., & above all Ahimsa Paramo Dharma...!!!!

    When we take a one kind look at the world every country want to practice these three Hindu ethos..., in the form of Tolerance..., but sadly it is not getting any merit in its own country..., due to FEKU Hinduism followers...!!!

Don't forget all religious foundations - Hindu, Christian, Muslim and the rest of them all accommodate all religion. A Hindu Nursing home doesn't reject a Muslim patient, A Christian school doesn't reject a Hindu student and should not and can not !! Country is for all, Government is for all .. And then Government can also allocate Funds for all religion foundations including Christian Development Corporation.. Not only to your Mutts .. I feel sorry for you.

    please send all churches list of beneficiaries for transparency in Christian development fund ,because many people looted money on fake name like now Madhya Pradesh government investigating the matter loan waiver i hope Christian leader will do this for the development of Christian community. after sending these beneficial list church committee should examine these name who took money from fund.
