Moodbidri: Gravel mixing lorry topples, three people stuck underneath rescued

Moodbidri, Jan 24: A gravel crusher lorry toppled at Bandottu, Kemar, Paladka gram panchayat limits on Thursday afternoon, January 24. 

Two workers and the driver were stuck under it. The driver had lost control of the vehicle while arriving for mini bridge works at Bandottu, Kemar and the vehicle fell on the side of the road. The major front portion of the lorry was damaged.

Driver Hanumantha Gadag and Jarkhand resident worker Jawaharlal were rescued. Though all of them have sustained injuries, the condition of worker Saifuddin is said to be critical.

The injured were admitted to Mangaluru hospital.
