Chamarajanagar, Jan 23: “I am willing to give up my position if the high command wants to give it to those who are dissatisfied in the party,” said minister for Backward Classes Welfare C Puttaranaga Shetty.
Speaking to news reporters, he said that Congress high command has given him the honour and position in the coalition government. “I am bound by the decision of the high command,” he said.
“If the high command asks me to resign tomorrow, I will do so immediately without any hesitation. There is no question of sacrifice here. It is the right of the high command to take such decision. Those who gave me the power, have the right to take it back. I will remain as minister if the high command asks and give it up otherwise. I am not dissatisfied in this regard,” he said.
