Mangaluru, Nov 9: Taking a dig at the coalition government celebrating Tipu Jayanthi, M P Nalin Kumar Kateel mocked that chief minister H D Kumaraswamy could have celebrated Siddaramaiah Jayanti instead of Tipu Jayanti.

Participating in the protests against Tipu Jayanti celebrations scheduled by the state government on Saturday, he said that Siddaramaiah is a bigger fanatic than Tipu. “Siddaramaiah celebrated Tipu Jayanti. Therefore, Kumaraswamy could have celebrated Siddaramaiah Jayanti,” he said.

“The name of Kumaraswamy is not mentioned in the invitation of Tipu Jayanti. It appears as if he is neither there nor here. Vijay Mallya who received sword of Tipu Sultan hit dust. Siddaramaiah who celebrated Tipu Jayanti lost power. Kumaraswamy will also lose power in the future and will go to forest,” mocked Kateel.

    Worst MP i have seen in my life. First let him complete Pump well Flyover, Remove NITK Toll gate, Create new jobs for youngsters .Improve Mangalore Airport so that all the international flights land in Mangalore.

    Being a BJP supporter i request sullia ,puttur,surathkal people not to vote for this guys.This time BJP Party should give the ticket to the Right candidate like J.P Hegde or a good party worker who thinks about welfare of the society . Also i feel ashamed of present State Government . Instead of spending Tax Payers money on Jayanthi they can invest those money on poor kids Education. No offense friends. This is my point of view.

    The Mangloreans are accountable for electing such useless MP's who wish to burn his own constituency and now asking for Jayanti of living person.

    How can 100% literate people can't even elect one able candidate who is pro-development, people's friendly and acceptable for all section of the society since 1991 for 25 long years?

    If Congress Home ministry is serious during former CM Siddarmaiah government, the case against NAMO Naresh in RTI activist murder case is enough to nail this man forever. The party could have revived the electoral fortune in entire coastal Karnataka and Malandu.
    Unfortunately, Congress President Rahul Gandhi strengthening the party now became Sadhu/Sant, instead of raising the issues challenging the nation.
    The Congress coastal leadership is a failure which needs a complete overhaul.
