Sullia, Oct 24: Over the raging controversy between Subramanya Math and temple, Chaithra Kundapur and Hindu Jagarana Vedike secretary Guruprasad had an argument with each other which resulted in Chaithra assaulting Guruprasad at Kashikatte near Subramanya on Wednesday, October 24.
It may be recalled, recently Subramanya Math had organised a programme called ‘Sudharma Sabhe’ over dispute on the temple. Chaithra Kundapur had participated in it and questioned the ‘serpent worship’ going on in the temple. Today, the argument started on this issue, said sources.

Subramanya police registered a case and have taken Chaithra and her companions into custody.
