Mangaluru: ‘Sangath Suvalo-2’ held at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar

Mangaluru, Oct 10: ICYM Shakthinagar Unit organized ‘Sangath Suvalo-2’, an inter-ward competition for parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar on October 7.

Fr Gerald Dsouza parish priest, Fr Nilesh Crasta, assistant parish priest, Fr Ronald D'Souza ICYM director, Fr. Trishan D’Souza, assistant director, St Antony Charity Institutes, Jaison Shirthady, ICYM Central council president, Noel Premannur, vice-president, Fevisha Ranipura, secretary, Frenton Cascia, PRO, Elroy Saldanha IPP, Cleeta, Surathkal deanery representative, Adline Fermai, deanery president, Roshan Vamanjoor, secretary, Asha Monteiro, parish vice-president, William Coloco, secretary, and Vincent Carlo, ICYM animator were present for the event.



More than 20 games like treasure hunt, best out waste, tug of war, fun relay, memory test, slow bike race, roll the Tyre and many more conducted by ICYM members.

All the 7 wards participated in all the games.

Overall championship was bagged by Mother of God Ward, followed by the 1st runners-up Velankanni Ward and 2nd runners-up Nithyadar Ward. Individual medals were awarded to the winners.

Prajwal Pinto, unit president welcomed the gathering, Ayola D’Souza, secretary delivered the words of gratitude. Gladson Pereira, Veena Vas, Priyanka Rodrigues jointly compered the programme. The programme was successful and was well appreciated.
