Mangaluru: Mohammed Sameer murder – police confirm arrest of wife, lover

Mangaluru, Oct 9: In connection with the murder of Mohammed Sameer (35) from Ganjimutt near here sometime back, his wife, Firdous, and paramour, Asif, were arrested by the personnel of Devadanapatti police station in Tamil Nadu.

They were produced in the court whereupon they were remanded to judicial custody for 15 days, the police here have confirmed.

The duo was arrested from Hosur bus stand near Tamil Nadu’s border with Karnataka. The police officials said that the arrested accused have confessed having murdered Sameer with a knife at 11 pm on the night of September 15, and tossing his body near Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu.

    Fruit from good tree always gives good healthy fruit, where as bad tree give bad fruit. I think parents should be blamed not teaching good morale to this girl, it is true that women can make a house or break a house, there are so many men's gone into disaster life.

    this is not correct! how much parents can run around. it is also husband's fault who is leaving the young wife and running after money.

    parents tries their best to give the good things to the kids but the society influence is so bad and parents cannot just keep watching their kids. tries will bear good and bad fruits with the influence of weather, worms, neighbor branch or trees, pesticides and several factors. so tree is not just responsible for bad fruits.

    we blame tree only if the fruit is bad and still cut the tree who gave good fruits. so your statement is not relevant in this situation. also kids have responsibility to know what is good and bad. all of us here give verdicts before the court hearings........let us see the twist. the issue here is men's ego hurt and she is pretty. LOL KEEP CALM and stay tuned. i would like to see the abusing people reaction when they hear the verdict if it is not as per their thinking!

    Indian police have the capacity to get a confession even from a lifeless statue. Remember the school boy murder? First day they caught a bus driver and made him to confess in public, then when cbi was given the case, they arrested another school boy for murder....
    Indian police are the greatest in the world to extract confession.

    Guys, remember, and pray that similar unfortunate things do not happen in your own family.

    We should in fact stand by the parents of Samèer in this hour of grief. May God give them enough strength to withstand the loss of their beloved son.
